Waynesboro Country Club is a private country club nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains with a strong, golf-focused membership. The Club features a 6,596-yard championship golf course that offers an engaging and playable test for golfers of all skill levels. With excellent course conditions and approximately 20,000 rounds played annually, Waynesboro Country Club offers a traditional private club golf operation with an emphasis on course conditions, pace of play, and member service. The golf course is open twelve months of the year, weather permitting. The Club provides a range of practice facilities for members, including a driving range extending over 300 yards and a 220-yard 19th hole used as a versatile practice area. A nine-hole putting green is also available to support all aspects of game improvement. The Assistant Golf Professional will be an integral part of the golf operation, assisting in delivering a first-class experience to the membership & guests. Responsibilities include supporting daily golf shop operations, tournament administration, instruction, merchandising, and member services, while working closely with the Head Golf Professional in a collaborative, professional environment. This position is expected to work approximately 35–40 hours per week from March through October, including evenings and weekends. The schedule includes two days off each week, with greater flexibility during the winter months.
