Country Club in Henderson, Nevada is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
This position will be part of a growing company with a portfolio of private, public and resort courses throughout the U.S. We offer cross-facility training, scholarships and opportunities to participate in the American Express (PGA TOUR) at PGA WEST or The Ford Championship (LPGA) at Whirlwind Golf Club.

Requirements
• In process of, or completion of Associate degree or Certificate in Turfgrass Management or similar field.
• The 2nd Assistant Superintendent is responsible for helping produce the agronomics and playing conditions outlined in the course’s business plan. The 2nd assistant superintendent will attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long-term strategic planning.
• 1-3 years of turfgrass management experience, with a clear trajectory toward becoming a golf course superintendent.
• Growing knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices with the ability to teach others.
• Possess or be able to obtain a state-required pesticide applicator license within 90 days of employment.
Compensation
$55,000 to $65,000 per year.
