Golf Club in Springfield, Pennsylvania is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Golf Club’s Greens Department is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and career-driven Turfgrass Professional to join our management team. Our Greens Department is dedicated to and prides itself in the training, development, and advancement of our Assistant Superintendents during your time with us and well beyond.
As an Assistant Superintendent at Rolling Green, you will be fully immersed in our management operation- including, but not limited to, crew scheduling, IPM Program & spray applications, manual irrigation & hand-watering programs, pest identification, budgeting, and communications. Additional, unique project opportunities for the 2026 season include:
• Operation & Programming of our new John Deere OnLink GPS Sprayers.
• GPS Mapping of golf course features and infrastructure to reflect all changes made during renovation work, including as-built irrigation system, drainage, and utilities GPS mapping.
• Expansion of irrigation system coverage and drainage infrastructure.
• Opportunity for involvement with the construction of a new $3.5M Performance Center
• Early Planning & Development of a Practice Facilities master plan, including new irrigation installation, improved driving range tee infrastructure, and short-game facility rebuild.
Requirements
• Degree or Certificate in a 2-year or 4-year Turfgrass Management Program.
• The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance, including the completion of at least one summer internship at a reputable facility. Candidates with less experience who possess a passion and drive to learn will be considered for an introductory position with the opportunity to grow into this role.
Compensation
$60,000 to $70,000 per year with On-Site Housing.
