Role Overview:
The Director of Membership Sales is pivotal in driving our membership growth by actively recruiting prospective members, upgrading existing memberships, and enriching the member experience. This position is vital in executing strategic sales initiatives to surpass the club's annual revenue objectives, which include dues, initiation fees, and net member growth. You will build and nurture relationships with potential members while ensuring their successful onboarding and engagement with our club community.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive membership growth through strategic recruitment and referrals, consistently aiming to exceed sales targets.Engage current members to facilitate membership upgrades and promote higher-tier options that fit their needs.Maintain a comprehensive prospect inventory to support the club's growth strategy, ensuring accurate tracking within our CRM system.Foster new member relationships and integrate them into the club community.Collaborate with the RVP - Membership and Marketing team to develop effective quarterly and annual plans for lead generation and pricing strategies.Engage in weekly meetings with the General Manager to assess progress and align on membership objectives.Help manage departmental expenses and monitor financial performance to achieve net dues growth.Represent the club at community events to increase visibility and attract potential new members.Implement a structured onboarding process for new members, including a targeted follow-up campaign to encourage referrals and ongoing engagement.Assist in organizing and executing club events that drive member engagement and promote growth.Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in hospitality or the service industry.Strong skills in sales and negotiation; formal sales training is a plus.Familiarity with the golf or private club industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.Exceptional customer service focus aimed at ensuring high levels of satisfaction.Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.What We Offer:
