Pool Server/Attendant

Job Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Pool Server/Attendant, where your energetic and guest-focused attitude will help create memorable experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively setting that combines hospitality with outdoor leisure. Duties Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to type of event and service standards. Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transaction in JONAS system at time of order. Check in with members to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness of work and member areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. Follow all Club safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all members according to Club standards, anticipate and address member and guests' service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Experience Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry. Background in serving or host/hostess roles that emphasize customer relations and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; familiarity with cashiering is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking across multiple poolside stations.
