Golf Course Greenskeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Course Greenskeeper to maintain the pristine condition of our golf course. This role involves performing landscape maintenance, turf care, and equipment operation to ensure optimal playing conditions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, horticulture, and maintaining beautiful landscapes. Prior experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscaping is highly valued. Responsibilities • Maintain and care for the golf course turf, including mowing, edging, and trimming greens, fairways, and roughs using hand tools and power tools • Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation practices • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to promote healthy turf and plant growth • Use various hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently for daily maintenance tasks • Conduct routine inspections of the course to identify areas needing repair or attention • Assist with general landscaping duties including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed • Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and basic repairs to ensure operational efficiency • Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities Requirements • Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is preferred • Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship • Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in maintaining the golf course’s appearance and playability • A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of course aesthetics This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor landscape maintenance who enjoy working in a team environment dedicated to excellence in golf course presentation.
