About the Role
• *Job Summary**
Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a pristine, inviting golf environment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course remains beautiful, safe, and well-manicured by performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the game.
• *Duties
• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep fairways, greens, and surrounding areas immaculate
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for routine landscaping tasks and repairs
• Conduct regular lawn care activities such as aerating, overseeding, and topdressing to promote healthy turf conditions
• Assist with gardening and horticulture tasks like planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance course aesthetics
• Maintain equipment including cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation
• Support overall land management by identifying areas needing attention and executing landscaping projects as directed
• *Requirements
• Prior experience with landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and landscaping techniques
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of turf management and land maintenance best practices
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment or materials
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course quality
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude toward safety standards
Pay: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour
