Job Title: Assistant Superintendent of Golf Course Maintenance Job Description: Join our dedicated team as an Assistant Superintendent of Golf Course Maintenance, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of our golf course and leading our maintenance team. Duties: Supervisory Responsibilities (35%):Review work assignments and set work priorities in collaboration with the Superintendent.Ensure that all team members are trained in the safe operation of their equipment.Direct the Maintenance Mechanic Leader to address any faulty or unsafe machinery and equipment.Supervise and coordinate the activities of all maintenance staff, including Greenskeepers, Irrigation Technicians, Pest Control Operators, and Mechanics.Provide training to employees on effective work methods and procedures.Establish performance metrics and evaluate employee performance regularly.Golf Course Management (65%):Take responsibility for the security of the Maintenance Facility and all inventory.Act as the lead authority in the absence of the Golf Course Superintendent.Assist in creating the daily work schedule and ensure its successful execution.Maintain cleanliness of golf course equipment, maintenance facility, and surrounding grounds.Conduct daily inspections of the golf courses to uphold quality standards.Initiate purchase requests for necessary supplies.Demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills in all activities.Perform related duties as assigned to support the team and golf course operations.
