Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant provides exceptional service to members and guests throughout the golf course facility — including the clubhouse, beverage cart (as needed). This role ensures a positive dining and beverage experience by maintaining high standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness in all F&B areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Greet guests and members courteously, taking food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
• Cooking of food will be required.
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, specials, promotions, and golf course events.
Operations
• Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately (cash, card).
• Set up, stock, and maintain service areas — including beverage carts, snack bars, and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in preparing for and executing golf tournaments, and special events.
• Monitor on-course F&B needs, restocking or replenishing supplies as required.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bars, carts, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for F&B areas.
Qualifications & Skills
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a golf course, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Valid driver’s license (for beverage cart operation, if applicable).
• Food Handling Certificate and TABC certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs (or 10–12 kg) regularly.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions when serving on-course.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.27 - $24.41 per hour
License/Certification:
• Driver's License (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
• 25% (Preferred)
