Hunting Creek Country Club is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our golf course maintenance team as an Assistant Superintendent in Training (AIT).

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Superintendent in Training will assist with the daily maintenance and agronomic operations of the golf course. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and takes pride in maintaining high-quality playing conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Golf Course Superintendent and management team with daily golf course maintenance operations
- Supervise and work alongside maintenance staff as directed
- Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general course maintenance
- Assist with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Assist with chemical and fertilizer applications in accordance with all applicable regulations
- Help maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and landscaped areas
- Operate and maintain a variety of golf course maintenance equipment
- Assist with scheduling and organizing daily maintenance tasks
- Monitor turf conditions and assist with identifying and addressing agronomic issues
- Maintain accurate records as assigned
- Help ensure equipment, shop areas, and work areas are clean and properly maintained
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent
