Golf Course Maintenance Worker

Duties Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming greens, fairways, and roughs using lawn care equipment and hand tools Operate power tools including trimmers, blowers, aerators, and other landscaping machinery to keep the course in top condition Assist with irrigation system management by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinkler systems to ensure proper watering schedules and coverage Perform routine gardening activities such as planting new vegetation, fertilizing turf, and controlling weeds to promote healthy growth Conduct regular inspections of the course for hazards or maintenance needs and promptly address issues to ensure safety and quality standards are met Support seasonal landscaping projects and special course preparations for tournaments or events Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and safety protocols Skills Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control Skilled in operating hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools such as trimmers and blowers Ability to perform general gardening tasks with attention to detail and safety procedures Familiarity with horticulture principles relevant to turfgrass management and plant health Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors This position is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their craftsmanship, and want to contribute to a world-class golf experience.
