Clear Creek Golf Course Superintendant

Job Summary / Purpose

Responsible for planning, supervising, and directing all golf course maintenance operations to provide safe, attractive, and playable course conditions while managing staff, equipment, and budgets.

Essential Duties

- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff.

- Develop daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance plans.

- Maintain greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, and landscaping.

- Mow and maintain the pavilion area and surrounding grounds.

- Manage irrigation system operations and repairs.

- Oversee fertilizer, chemical, and pest management programs in accordance with regulations.

- Maintain maintenance equipment and facilities.

- Monitor course conditions and recommend improvements.

- Manage department budget and inventory.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

- Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of turfgrass management and golf course maintenance.

- Supervisory experience.

- Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Mississippi Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator-Category 3: Ornament & Turf Pest Control
