OVERVIEW:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Foster a welcoming environment for golfers by delivering exceptional instruction, and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with students. Engage with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, understand their golfing goals, and serve as a trusted mentor. Continuously seek opportunities for personal development to enhance your teaching skills. Be adaptable in your teaching methods to ensure students grasp concepts effectively, while creatively expanding your student base to meet and exceed financial targets.
Actively participate in community outreach efforts by collaborating with local organizations to promote and enhance the Golf Galaxy experience. Initiate and lead local initiatives that raise awareness of our services – including Fitting, Lessons, and Specialized Services – creating lasting connections with golfers at every stage of their golfing journey.
Work in harmony with Certified Fitters and team members to elevate the experience for each student. This may involve collaborating during fittings, providing insight on lesson plans to improve performance, and sharing your expertise and knowledge with teammates and golfers alike.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
3+ years of hands-on knowledge in club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, or pursuing PGA/LPGA membership through the Associate Program.
Trackman Level 1 & 2 certification.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for golf equipment and related technology.
A desire for continuous learning and teaching others.
Stays up-to-date with industry trends.

Targeted Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $67,200.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that may include additional components such as incentives, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other business considerations. We conduct regular reviews of teammate pay to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
