Our team is passionate about delivering outstanding, personalized service to our members and their guests. We are seeking a Bar Manager who will lead our beverage program, oversee bar operations, and ensure an elevated member experience.
Starting pay: $18–$22 per hour plus service charge percentage and additional tips
Job Requirements
Leadership experience — Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or lead bartender role
Bartending expertise — Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a multi‑outlet or high‑volume environment
Professionalism — Friendly, detail‑oriented, reliable, and committed to high standards
Strong communication and team‑building skills
Neat, clean, and well‑kept appearance
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining exceptional service
Willingness to go above and beyond for members and guests
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
RAMP or TIPs certification
Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
Oversee bar operations including inventory and ordering
Train and supervise bartenders and bar support staff
Create seasonal cocktail, wine, and beverage menus
Ensure consistency in drink preparation following Club standards
Manage opening and closing procedures for all bar areas
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all bar spaces
Assist with service during peak dining periods
Coordinate bar service for banquets, pool events, and social functions
Keep beverage sale logs for recurrent events
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Work Environment
Butler Country Club is a team‑oriented environment. The Bar Manager will work closely with dining room leadership, banquet staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless beverage service across all outlets, including the clubhouse, pool bar, banquet spaces, and special events.
