Golf Shop Assistant – Part-Time Mayacama Golf Club | Santa Rosa, CA Mayacama Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded Part-Time Golf Shop Assistant to join our Golf Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the game of golf, enjoys working with people, and wants to gain hands-on experience in a premier private club environment. What You’ll Do As a Golf Shop Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming and seamless golf experience for our members and guests. No two days are exactly the same! Your responsibilities will include: • Welcoming members and guests and providing friendly, professional service • Assisting with golfer check-in, tee times, lesson appointments, and daily Golf Shop operations • Answering phone calls and emails and responding to member and guest requests • Maintaining accurate tee sheet, rounds-of-golf, and Golf Shop records • Communicating with the Starter, Caddie Manager, Outside Services, Locker Room, and Golf Course team to help keep the day’s play running smoothly • Assisting members and guests with Golf Shop merchandise and product selections • Keeping merchandise displays stocked, organized, and looking their best • Assisting with inventory, special orders, and merchandise receiving • Supporting Club tournaments, including registration, promotions, tournament materials, and day-of operations • Learning and helping uphold Mayacama’s golf customs, etiquette, and service standards What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys helping others. Our ideal candidate is: • Passionate about golf and interested in learning more about golf operations • Friendly, polished, professional, and service-oriented • Organized and attentive to detail • Comfortable juggling changing priorities in a busy environment • A strong communicator who enjoys interacting with members, guests, and coworkers • Dependable, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed • A team player who takes initiative and wants to learn and grow Previous private club experience or participation in a PGA Golf Management Program is a plus but is not required.
