Mayacama Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded Part-Time Golf Shop Assistant to join our Golf Operations team.

What You’ll Do
As a Golf Shop Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming and seamless golf experience for our members and guests. No two days are exactly the same! Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming members and guests and providing friendly, professional serviceAssisting with golfer check-in, tee times, lesson appointments, and daily Golf Shop operationsAnswering phone calls and emails and responding to member and guest requestsMaintaining accurate tee sheet, rounds-of-golf, and Golf Shop recordsCommunicating with the Starter, Caddie Manager, Outside Services, Locker Room, and Golf Course team to help keep the day’s play running smoothlyAssisting members and guests with Golf Shop merchandise and product selectionsKeeping merchandise displays stocked, organized, and looking their bestAssisting with inventory, special orders, and merchandise receivingSupporting Club tournaments, including registration, promotions, tournament materials, and day-of operationsLearning and helping uphold Mayacama’s golf customs, etiquette, and service standardsWhat We’re Looking For

Passionate about golf and interested in learning more about golf operationsFriendly, polished, professional, and service-orientedOrganized and attentive to detailComfortable juggling changing priorities in a busy environmentA strong communicator who enjoys interacting with members, guests, and coworkersDependable, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever neededA team player who takes initiative and wants to learn and growPrevious private club experience or participation in a PGA Golf Management Program is a plus but is not required.
