Private Events Coordinator Intern

Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern, PA, is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Private Events Coordinator Intern to join our team. In this exciting internship, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings, social events, corporate meetings, golf outings, and member functions. Working alongside our Private Events Manager and multiple club departments, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in hospitality, event management, sales, and club operations. Your Responsibilities Assist with Event Planning: Help coordinate private events, social functions, meetings, golf outings, and member events. Support Event Execution: Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure successful events and exceptional guest experiences. Prepare Event Documents: Help create proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and other event materials. Coordinate Event Details: Gather information regarding menus, room layouts, timelines, guest counts, and special requests. Communicate with Clients and Departments: Support communication between clients and club departments to ensure seamless event execution. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with members, guests, clients, and team members. Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Desire to Learn: Eagerness to gain hands-on-experience in event management, hospitality operations, and client relations.
