Piney Branch Golf Club is a privately owned golf facility located in Upperco, Maryland. It features an 18-hole par-71 championship course designed by Edmund B. Ault and provides first-class amenities to its members and guests. The club serves a range of clients, including members, corporate groups, and special-event attendees, such as wedding and reception guests. With a dedicated events team, Piney Branch is committed to delivering a premium experience for all visitors.
Piney Branch Golf Club is looking for new team members to join our service team. Are you looking for an interactive, fun, and rewarding position on our team? We have multiple openings, including banquet servers and bussers, runners, bartenders, and a la carte dining servers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with competitive wages and much more.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of prior experience serving or bartending preferred.
• Customer service focused with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wines, and beers
• High work ethic and self-motivated
• Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Banquet experience is a plus
• Professional appearance and attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
• Flexible to work varying schedules to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities:
• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Takes orders accurately and promptly to ensure a positive experience for both members and guests, always aiming to exceed expectations.
• Providing quality beverage production and service for Members and Guests
• Maintain the bar, bar service area, and storerooms in a neat, organized, and secure manner
• Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to standards
• For a cash bar, receives cash from guests, and makes any change needed
• Advises the Director of Catering or the manager on duty of any member/guest complaints or issues, including underage drinking, over-intoxication, and the presence of outside alcohol, as soon as they occur.
