This is a full-time, permanent position with a well-established club committed to maintaining its course at the highest level. The Role The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and management of a full fleet of golf course turf equipment. The right candidate brings technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a genuine pride in keeping a high-performing fleet in peak condition. Responsibilities include: Full fleet maintenance and repair — mowers, utility vehicles, irrigation equipment, and supporting machineryScheduling and managing preventive maintenance programsMaintaining detailed service records and equipment logsManaging parts inventory and vendor relationshipsCoordinating with the superintendent on equipment needs and course preparationOverseeing and mentoring shop staff where applicableThe Candidate The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of experience as an Equipment Manager or lead technician at a golf course operationStrong diesel and gasoline engine repair skillsExperience with Toro, Jacobsen, or comparable turf equipment preferredFamiliarity with GPS-guided cutting systems a plusReel grinding experience requiredA professional, team-oriented approach to shop managementCompensation Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
