About the Role
JOB SUMMARY
The Comfort Station Attendant is responsible for maintaining an efficient, well-stocked, and welcoming comfort station on the golf course. This role ensures golfers and guests have convenient access to a variety of snacks, sandwiches, salads, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic items throughout their round. The attendant maintains high standards of cleanliness, inventory accuracy, and customer service while collaborating closely with kitchen and management teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Restock and Maintain Inventory — Proactively restock the comfort station with snacks, sandwiches, salads, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic items to ensure adequate supply and appealing presentation at all times.Coordinate with Teams — Work closely with the Chef, Beverage Manager, and Food and Beverage Director to communicate needs, receive deliveries, report issues, and ensure product quality and availability align with daily operations and special events.Storeroom Access and Inventory Management — Access the storeroom to retrieve supplies; conduct periodic physical inventory counts; track usage of consumed items; monitor par levels, expiration dates, and waste to minimize shrinkage and support accurate ordering.Member Service — Greet and assist golfers and guests in a friendly, professional manner; provide information on available items; handle member charging; and resolve any immediate concerns to enhance the overall golf experience.Cleanliness and Organization — Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary comfort station at all times, including wiping surfaces, disposing of waste, and following food safety and health guidelines.Additional Duties — Assist with setup or breakdown for golf outings, tournaments, or events as needed; report maintenance issues or equipment needs promptly; and perform other related tasks as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in food and beverage service, retail stocking, inventory management, or a similar customer-facing role (golf course, hospitality, or convenience service experience is a plus).Basic knowledge of food safety practices and handling of perishable items.Ability to handle alcoholic beverages responsibly (must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol, such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification if required).Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory tracking and restocking.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with staff.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an outdoor environment.Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock items (up to 30-50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings/early evenings (golf course hours).Preferred Skills
