Duties
Maintain the golf course grounds by mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf areas to ensure optimal playability and visual appeal
Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems to keep landscapes healthy and attractive
Assist with irrigation system installation, repairs, and adjustments to promote proper watering schedules and prevent water waste
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, fertilizing, pruning, and weed control to support vibrant plant health
Conduct routine inspections of the course’s landscaping features, ensuring safety standards are met and equipment is functioning properly
Use hand tools for detailed gardening tasks like planting new greenery or repairing damaged turf areas
Support seasonal landscaping projects and ensure all grounds are kept clean, safe, and visually appealing for guests
Experience
Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment is highly desirable
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to course upkeep and landscaping tasks
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaborative work environments
Knowledge of landscaping best practices including turf management, plant care, and environmental sustainability is a plus
