Position: Front of House Manager
Location: Fox Valley Golf Club, W1759 Cty Hwy UU, Kaukauna, WI 54130
We are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to oversee all restaurant and bar operations, including welcoming and hosting guests.
The Front of House Manger is responsible for overseeing daily clubhouse food and beverage operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position manages the front-of-house staff, bar operations, event coordination and customer service standards for daily dining, golf events and private parties. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen, Bar and Golf Staff to ensure a seamless experience. We’re looking for someone energetic, outgoing and member focused.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all Front of House restaurant and bar operations
Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service and attitude to all Front of House employees to provide an excellent member experience.
Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
Maintain service standards for all Front of House employees
Analyze staff performance and provide feedback
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
Arrange for new employees’ proper on-boarding and training as well as handling termination of employees who fail to meet standards
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Manage waitstaff and bar staff.
Oversee guest reservations, greeting, seating and overall club member experience
Arrange maintenance of front house equipment and facilities
Implement promotional activities to increase member participation at Fox Valley Golf Club
Set pricing in bar area and all inventory control in bar area
Prepare reports on customer satisfaction and feedback for the board
Work effectively with Golf staff to coordinate golf events and activities
Manage employee schedules in bar and dining.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or Restaurant Manager
Proven customer service experience as a manager
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing etc.
Strong team player and effectively communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience

Job Title: Front of House Manager
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Board and directly to Food and Beverage Committee.
Pay Range: $26-$30 an hour based on experience and qualifications
Employment Type: full-time in summer, part time in winter months
