About the Role
Hidden Valley Country Club is a distinguished private club known for its exceptional amenities, including a championship golf course, fine dining, and exclusive social events tailored to its members. As a premier destination in the community, Hidden Valley Country Club prides itself on delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences that reflect the club’s culture, values, and standards. The club offers a welcoming and sophisticated environment where members and their guests can enjoy recreational activities, dining, and social gatherings in an elegant setting, making it a sought-after venue for both daily enjoyment and special events.
The Front of House Manager at Hidden Valley Country Club plays a critical role in the seamless execution of all catering and member-facing events while maintaining high standards for front-of-house (FOH) service operations. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a skilled operator who is actively involved in managing day-to-day FOH operations, staffing, event coordination, and ensuring exemplary service quality across the club’s bar and event spaces. The role includes responsibilities that span from overseeing event setups and service flow to sales-related activities such as pricing and contract negotiations.
The Front of House Manager is the primary operational contact for both external contracted catering events and internal member events, ensuring each is executed smoothly and professionally. This role requires close coordination with multiple departments including culinary, beverage, golf, and facilities to guarantee an integrated approach to event success. The Manager is tasked with staff scheduling, monitoring service standards, and directly leading FOH associates during peak times and events to ensure consistency and professionalism.
In addition to event execution, the Front of House Manager must maintain inventory control, manage costs, and support operational efficiency by monitoring beverage and service supplies while minimizing waste. Leadership and training of FOH staff are key components of this role, requiring effective coaching and communication to uphold service excellence. The Manager must demonstrate a service-oriented mindset balanced with financial discipline, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This full-time position demands flexibility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and events, reflecting the dynamic nature of hospitality and club operations. Success in this role is measured by the flawless delivery of events within time and budget, consistent service standards, positive feedback from members and guests, and fostering a cohesive and accountable FOH team.
