## Recreation Attendant (Seasonal) Pool Deck Kids Camps Summer Fun Coastal Club Life — join our Recreation Team as a Recreation & Aquatics Attendant and help deliver unforgettable poolside and recreation experiences at our beautiful private club on Bald Head Island. We pay $15.00 - $16.00 / hr for this part-time, seasonal role. You’ll spend your shift outdoors on the pool deck and at recreation facilities, working in coastal summer conditions and staying active — standing, walking, monitoring, and moving throughout the shift. ### What you’ll do day to day As a Recreation & Aquatics Attendant, you’ll be on the front lines of Member experience — making sure the pool deck and recreation areas are safe, welcoming, and fun. Typical duties include: - Creating memorable experiences for Members, Guest Members, and Guests through exceptional service and hospitality - Greeting guests warmly on arrival, smiling, making eye contact, and using names whenever possible - Assisting with guest requests and accommodations and striving to say “Yes” while finding solutions - Monitoring and managing recreation areas, check-ins, and assigned activity stations - Enforcing Club rules and safety policies in recreation areas and responding appropriately to emergencies by following established procedures - Facilitating recreation activities that are engaging, organized, and fun - Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the pool deck and recreation facilities - Staying knowledgeable about Club events, hours, closures, and offerings; communicating guest feedback or concerns promptly and solving issues when possible - Following all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines and completing opening, side, and closing duties as assigned - Being a positive role model and supportive teammate, and living our four core service values: _Smile, Be Nice, Say Yes, and Solve Problems_ ### Who you are You’re friendly, dependable, and thrive in an active, outdoor environment.
