Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused golf club fitter to join our team. In this role, you will use launch monitor technology and equipment expertise to deliver custom fitting experiences for golfers of all skill levels. You will evaluate swing dynamics, analyze launch data, and recommend optimal clubhead, shaft, and grip combinations to maximize player performance.
Key Responsibilities
Custom Fitting & Player Performance
Conduct comprehensive 1-on-1 club fitting sessions (Drivers, Woods, Hybrids, Irons, Wedges, and Putters) using launch monitor technology (e.g., Trackman, GCQuad).
Analyze key performance metrics including launch angle, spin rate, ball speed, club path, face angle, and attack angle to determine ideal specs.
Evaluate lie angle, shaft length, flex, torque, kick point, and grip size tailored to each player's unique swing profile.
Translate complex fitting data into clear, actionable recommendations that build customer trust and confidence.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market equipment, shaft profiles, head designs, and industry technology trends across all major manufacturers.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Drive custom golf equipment sales by matching players with the right club components and specifications.
Provide exceptional, hospitable customer experience from intake through order delivery.
Conduct post-fitting follow-ups to ensure player satisfaction and performance results on the course.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Experience: 3+ years of custom golf fitting or golf retail experience.
Technology: Demonstrated proficiency with launch monitors (TrackMan, GCQuad) and fitting software.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of golf equipment architecture, shaft profiles, clubhead physics, and swing biomechanics.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills interacting with team members and customers.
Customer Service: High sales drive with a passion for helping golfers improve their game.
Preferred Candidate
Master Fitter Certification (e.g., TrackMan Certified, Mitchell Golf, Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, or Mizuno Fitting Certification).
PGA / LPGA Member or Apprentice status.
Hands-on club building and repair experience.
Competitive golf playing experience or background in golf instruction.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift equipment boxes and fitting carts up to 40 lbs.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and key holiday periods as driven by peak golf season demand.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
