We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our fine dining establishment. In this role, you will work closely with our servers to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional guest services. Responsibilities
Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing dishes.
Support food preparation tasks in the kitchen as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any needs or concerns promptly and courteously.
Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings to assist guests with their selections effectively.
Operate the Aloha POS system for order entry when required, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
Skills
Experience in fine dining settings is preferred, showcasing an understanding of upscale service standards.
Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with restaurant operations and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards.
Exceptional hospitality skills, demonstrating a genuine desire to provide outstanding guest experiences.
Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
