Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) is hiring: Irrigation Technician in Grass Valley

Alta Sierra Country Club is seeking a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our course irrigation system to ensure optimal playing conditions. Your duties will include troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic issues, repairing pipes and sprinkler heads, monitoring water usage efficiently, and hand watering. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of turfgrass management, experience with automated irrigation systems, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Schedule - Full-time, often requiring early mornings and some weekends. Previous experience with golf course or large-scale irrigation systems, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
