About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician to help maintain and improve the performance of our golf course irrigation system.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and keeping a complex system running smoothly.
ABOUT THE COURSE
St.
James Bay is an 18-hole championship course located along Florida’s Forgotten Coast.
As an Audubon International Certified Sanctuary, we prioritize environmental stewardship, water quality, and wildlife protection while delivering excellent playing conditions for members, guests, and the local community
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Inspect, repair, and maintain irrigation lines, heads, valves, and controllers
* Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
* Perform routine system checks and adjustments
* Assist with mapping and documenting irrigation zones
* Collaborate with the Superintendent on water use efficiency
* Support general course maintenance when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with golf course or commercial irrigation systems
* Hands on experience with irrigation repair, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting
* Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation components
* Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
* Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs.
