About the position The Assistant Paddle Professional will work with the Director of Racquet Sports throughout the fall/winter season, while teaching and scheduling members for lessons. The Minikahda Club, founded in 1898, is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi and a premier club in the region, focused on providing superior social and recreational experiences based on the values of family, fellowship, integrity, respect, and inclusiveness. Responsibilities Responsible for attendance and billing for juniors, privates and adult lessons.Proper and timely communication with members.Teaches paddle to all levels, ages and abilities.Participate in events at the Club upon request.Schedule court reservations.Other duties as assigned for business need.Requirements Previous paddle teaching experience.Ability to problem solve for members.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Maintain professional conduct with members on the court during lessons or general play.Ability to work in various weather conditions.Light court maintenance; snow shoveling, blowing leaves, etc.Nice-to-haves Certification appreciated but not required.Benefits Daily MealMinneapolis Sick and Safe Leave
