About the Role
Job Purpose
Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club’s Head Golf Professional is responsible for the daily management and operation of the Golf Department, ensuring exceptional service, outstanding member experiences, and operational excellence. This position promotes the game of golf through strong leadership, effective team development, and the delivery of first-class programs, services, and events for members and their guests. Working closely with the Director of Golf, the Head Golf Professional serves as the department’s operational leader and assumes responsibility for all golf operations in the Director of Golf’s absence.
The role requires a highly visible leader who is committed to fostering a welcoming culture, developing staff, and maintaining the Club’s high standards.

• Payroll Administration Job Summary (Essential Functions) Provide a personable, professional, and service-focused golf environment that consistently delivers exceptional experience for members and guests. Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of all golf programming, including daily play, tournaments, member events, leagues, clinics, instructional programs, golf outings, and special events. Serve as the tournament director for the Club’s premier member events while overseeing the successful execution of all other golf tournaments and events by the professional staff. Direct all daily golf operations, including the golf shop, outside services, bag drop, bag room, practice facilities, golf cart fleet, and club repair services. Act as the department leader and primary decision-maker during the Director of Golf’s absence, ensuring continuity of operations, service standards, and staff leadership.
