About the Role
# Golf Course Hospitality Attendant at Troubadour Golf & Field Club
Troubadour Golf & Field Club, located just 30 miles south of downtown Nashville, is seeking a Golf Course Hospitality Attendant to join our Food and Beverage Department. This is a full-time seasonal role with a start date of April 1, and the starting pay is $17.00 per hour.
As a Golf Course Hospitality Attendant, you'll play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests. You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our golf course food comfort stations, ensuring they remain well-organized, fully stocked, and ready to serve throughout the day. Your work will directly contribute to the outstanding member and guest experience that Discovery Land Company is known for.
## What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities include opening and closing assigned golf food comfort stations and keeping all outlet stations neat, organized, and well stocked with snacks, candies, and beverages. You'll store outlet food properly according to food safety guidelines and put away outlet food and beverage deliveries as they arrive. When inventory runs low, you'll communicate these needs so par levels stay current.
You may also handle simple food preparation, cooking, and serving of golf course outlet menu items. On the course itself, you'll take food and beverage orders from members and guests to relay to the kitchen when necessary. You'll track specified food items taken from the kitchen on weekly Outlet Tracking Sheets and maintain stock levels at the sales office and fitness areas.
Member service is essential to this role—you'll greet all members formally by using their surname and demonstrate the hospitality standards Troubadour is known for. You should be ready to perform additional duties as assigned.
## What We're Looking For
You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three months of previous food service or guest service experience. Experience at a fast-paced, high-end restaurant, club, or resort is preferred. Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards is essential; you should possess or be able to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate. You must also be knowledgeable about wines and beverages and hold or be able to obtain a TABC certification.
Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service is crucial. You'll need a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding service to members, guests, and team members. The ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest times is essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
## Schedule and Physical Requirements
You must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as long hours may be required based on business demands. You'll need to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; additional languages are preferred.
The role requires meeting significant physical demands. You'll work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing and walking for periods greater than eight hours, and regularly lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty pounds.
## Benefits and Culture
We offer competitive pay along with employee meals, referral incentives, and recognition programs. You'll have access to professional development and upward mobility opportunities within Discovery Land Company, and you'll be part of our work-family culture.
Troubadour Golf & Field Club spans 980 acres and features an 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course, a multi-sport complex, an organic farm, world-class restaurants, private recording studios, music venues, and wellness facilities. As part of our team, you'll use your personal talent and passion to meaningfully integrate with our diverse community and provide the highest level of service that contributes to creating unforgettable experiences for our members and guests.
