About the Role
The Clubhouse Superintendent oversees the clubhouse facility and surrounding grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. The duties include regular daily cleaning, restocking, preventative maintenance, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations, and general repair.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards are met at all times.
Daily cleaning and restocking of the locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas of the clubhouse and surrounding buildings.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration systems) and other equipment throughout the facilities.
Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
Inspect facilities operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
Respond in a courteous manner to all department and member/guest maintenance issues.
Inspect work performed by staff to ensure it meets specifications and established standards.
Oversee maintenance and daily testing of spa area and equipment.
Maintain and service tools and equipment at established standards.
Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
Reviews plans for facility improvements and discusses equipment needs and modifications with General Manager.
Confers with General Manager and department heads to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of facilities, machines and equipment.
Works with General Manager to manage and oversee capital improvements to the Clubhouse and facilities.
Required Skills:
3+ years’ experience in one or more of the following fields: HVAC Technician, Refrigeration Technician, mechanical, electrical, carpentry and plumbing trades
Previous experience within country clubs is strongly preferred but not required
Must have a valid driver’s license
May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to perform moderate physical work; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting.
Required Work Habits:
Regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness.
Working Conditions:
Works primarily indoors overseeing all facilities maintenance related activities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
