Position: Greenskeeper II. Job in Triangle Lily Lifestyle Jobs Location: Triangle Greenskeeper IIWe’re hiring full-time and part-time Greenskeeper II positions at Forest Greens Golf Club. Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and nurturing our grounds. As a Greenskeeper II, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. Pay scale is $14.00 to $16.00 BOE. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.ResponsibilitiesMaintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerEducation and Experience Requirements2 years of golf maintenance experience with additional experience in golf course irrigation.Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)Working ConditionsFrequently uses handsRegularly stands, walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawlsFrequently lifts, moves, and carries up to 50 pounds; to push or pull up to 100 poundsRegularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, compact spaces, hot attic temperatures, and outside weather conditionsNoise level is moderateEqual Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
