Greenskeeper

About the position The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.\n\nSeasonal, part-time and full-time opportunities available. Responsibilities Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerRequirements Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be highly organized, efficient and detail orientedMust possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf courseMust possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenanceSkilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependable
