As a Banquet Line Cook at Turf Valley Resort, you are responsible for preparing food items for each event. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Preparing food items according to designated recipes and quality standards Preparing guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation standards at all times Visually inspecting all food sent from the kitchen to ensure plates are clean and appetizing Practicing safe food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations Prior Banquet Kitchen experience preferred Proficiency in the following cooking techniques: charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sauté, braising, roasting and par-cooking Proficient knife skills Excellent team work skills Food safety certification required Must be able to stand for 8 hours Requires repetitive hand motions, bending, lifting and moving an excess of 100 lbs.
