About the Role
Description
A Kitchen Steward (dishwasher) maintains the kitchen and surrounding areas, keeping them clean and sanitary. Your duties may include creating and maintaining a cleaning schedule for the kitchen, cleaning the stoves, ovens, pots, pans, grills, and refrigerators, and washing dishes, glasses, and cutlery.
This is a part-time position working up to 40 hours per week.
PM shift 4:00PM ending between 12:00AM and 2:00AM.
Job Functions:
Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings.Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, cutlery, etc.Cleaning the stoves, ovens, pots, pans, grills, and refrigeratorsMaintains, organizes, and replaces clean dishes.Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct.Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPossess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rulesMust have own vehicle and valid driver’s license. (May have to drive to our sister company Blue Bell Country Club to help on occasions. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.Must have reliable transportation
