About the Role
SUMMARY: It is the responsibility of the Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas of the Club.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean all dishes, glasses, and pots/pans, and ensure work areas and kitchen are always kept clean and organized.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment during club functions/events.Maintain storage areas and refrigerators in kitchen and keep pots and dish storage organized as directed by Chef.Clean floors and mats nightly, and wash walls and refrigerators weekly, or as directed by Chef.Empty trash as needed and at the end of every shift. Clean the outside trash room as needed or as directed.Work together as a team with other co-workers and all departments.Use the correct chemicals and amounts as described in the charts posted on equipment use.Abide by the policies and procedures as outlined in the F&B Kitchen Employee Manual.Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to work all shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions.Ability to work as a team player and maintain a professional appearance at all times.Ability to work with toxic cleaning chemicals, as well as with sharp objects.Ability to read, understand, and speak English; Bilingual a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience as a Dishwasher preferred
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GEDServSafe Sanitation certification required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
