About the Role
1). Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, marketing related field. MUST HAVE GOLF KNOWLEDGE2. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: With responsibility to support the IJGA marketing plan and strategy, this individual should have strong golf marketing competencies and be committed to the overall mission and vision of the organization. The Marketing Coordinator should have knowledge of social media platforms, digital platforms, communications processes, and general marketing functions. They should demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills, strong business analytics and innovative marketing skills to build IJGA brand awareness and drive leads. A professional and positive approach, this self motivated, team player should have the ability to work independently, and must be completely trustworthy in the quality, timeliness and implementation of work. Business related computer skills including knowledge with PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Knowledge and experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Keap is an advantage as well as some basic knowledge of graphic design. Knowledge and experience with golf is required.3. Position Summary: Reporting to Director of College Placement & Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will have direct responsibility for all day-to-day marketing operations. Full responsibility includes but is not limited to: * Companywide communication plan * Manage the IJGA content plan and playbook * Post regularly to the IJGA social media platforms * Create video content for promotion on digital channels (videos of tournament winners and other notable students) * Understand and follow the Go To Market schedule * Support the recruitment team with marketing assets (Admissions Guides, Flyers, Ads) * Track marketing spend and progress * Student resumes and college placement support * Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights * Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies4. Requirements: BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field * Skill in writing and copy editing * Video and postproduction experience * Experience with social media platforms and strategies * Creative in designing and developing marketing campaigns * Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is an advantage * Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking * Experience with graphic design and creative services * Ad hoc projects as neededJob Type: Full-timePay: $44,005.00 - $47,014.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
