Server Position at St Ives Country Club

Servers at St Ives Country Club provide important hospitality services to our wonderful Members. They are the face of the Club and an integral part of daily operations. St Ives offers flexible work schedules, a free employee meal per day while on duty, and discounts in the golf and tennis shops. Additionally, employees can play golf for free on St Ives Country Club's amazing course and tennis or pickleball on our top-notch courts.

About Us: Centered in the heart of Johns Creek, Georgia, St Ives Country Club (SICC) has maintained a standard of private club excellence since 1989. Members enjoy exclusive access to an 18-hole Tom Fazio Golf Course, which is maintained to pristine standards and set in a gorgeous, wooded backdrop.

For tennis enthusiasts, St Ives hosts the second largest tennis program in Atlanta and provides a beautiful Tennis Center with sixteen (16) Tennis Courts plus four (4) Pickleball Courts with playing opportunities and instruction for the whole family.

The spectacular Clubhouse sits atop one of the highest elevation points in Fulton County and features panoramic views of the expansive Driving Range and a stunning Outdoor Patio Grille below where members can relax and enjoy the day with friends and family. The upstairs Restaurants offer a more formal dining experience with beautiful sunsets overlooking the 10th Tee from the Member's Bar.

The Clubhouse can also accommodate business entertaining and social events with multiple private event spaces and a dedicated banquet staff.

A highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level. Providing food and beverage service to Members and Guests while consistently displaying a positive attitude and knowledge about the food and beverage menu. Team Members holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management. Management has the exclusive right to alter this job description at any time without notice.

To arrive neat and well-groomed and on-time and dressed in the appropriate uniform in accordance with St Ives Country Club's standards.

Set up for events, carry trays, serve members, and clean up at the event's conclusion.

Review and set up your section ensuring all dishes, silverware and glasses meet the standards of St Ives Country Club.

Attend pre-shift meeting for updates and specials for the day or evening.

Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.

Distributes food and wine menus, answers questions.

Fills glasses with ice water and suggests menu items.

Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.

Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.

Places orders with kitchen; Serves meals, places dishes by courses in front of each person. Ladies and children first.

replenishes water and butter as necessary.

Presents dessert menus, suggestions, and serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.

Handles all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.

Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.

Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.

Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.

Consistently follows local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.

A minimum of 1 to 3 years of high-profile service operation working in Ala Carte service.
