Intern/Seasonal Assistant

The Role

Coldstream's next Intern will work alongside the Coldstream Professional Staff and gain hands-on experience in all areas of our golf operation. This position is designed for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in the golf industry and wants to learn from an experienced professional team in a premier private club environment.

Our next intern will be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the golf department while receiving mentorship and guidance from the Director of Golf and Professional Staff. Responsibilities will increase throughout the internship as they develop confidence, knowledge, and professional skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily golf shop operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory, special orders, and member service.

Assist with member events, outings, leagues, and other golf events from planning through execution.

Assist with junior, ladies’, and instructional programming.

Work alongside the Professional Staff in providing exceptional service to members and guests.

Assist with tee sheet management, starting, player assistance, pace of play, and daily golf operations.

Support Outside Services and learn the various responsibilities involved in operating a high-level private club golf operation.

Assist with member communications, event preparation, and other administrative responsibilities.

Gain experience with golf industry technology, including Club Essentials, ForeTees, Golf Genius, Microsoft Office, and Trackman.

Participate in merchandising, club repair, and other golf shop responsibilities.

Play golf with members and guests when appropriate to build relationships and gain valuable experience.

Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Golf.
