About the Role
Overview
Tri-County Country Club is a semi-private facility located in Forestville, New York. Founded in 1924, TCCC has a proud heritage and prestigious reputation. The clubhouse burned down in the fall of 2023 and is reopening for the 2026 season. The members and guests couldn't be more excited for the season ahead and the opportunities it will provide for our great club.
Tri-County has a mix of member and outside events, as well as men's and ladies leagues, and does approximately 20,000 rounds annually. The golf course is maintained by Pete Gilray, our 35-year superintedent, and is well-known for having some of the best greens in the WNY section.
The ideal candidate will have worked at least one year in the golf industry and have a general knowledge of golf course operations. Experiences with club repair, coaching, and junior golf will open up additional income opportunities. Candidate must have a strong desire to learn and grow as a golf professional, with aspirations of working toward a PGA membership. Outside of professional qualities, the ideal candidate will be a hard-working, honest, and dedicated employee. Being engaging, willing to learn, service-oriented, and proactive are all intangible skills that will enhance the golf operation staff and member experience.
Experience Required
One year of golf course experience (assistant professional experience preferred)Strong written and verbal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office

Experience with running events--GolfGenius a major plusExperience with Lightspeed/Chronogolf point of sale and tee sheet softwaresExperience with club repair/regrippingExperience with coaching, especially beginners and juniorsExperience in retail or food service a plus
