Responsibilities
Assist with Member and guest check inAssist with the opening and closing procedures of the Golf ShopManage and coordinate Member golf events and tournamentsConduct individual lessons and group clinicsAssist with men’s, women’s, and mixed golf programsAssist in Player Development programs using PGA tools and resourcesAssist with the management of the outside operations team to ensure the\nhighest quality of customer service is achievedAssist in managing golf cart barn, practice facility, and club storage\nserviceAssist in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders\nincluding: ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of\nsale, pricing procedures, display, and salesConduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at\nall timesAssist in coordinating golf activities with other departmentsMaintain PGA of America membership/apprenticeship in good standingFundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility\noperations and tournament operationsFundamental supervisory practices and principlesAct as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work\nethic expected of all employeesStrong organizational, planning and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated with desire to promote and marketService and customer focused attitudeExperienced in written and oral business communicationsRemain up-to-date on customer relationship management tactics and strategiesUtilize the resources of PGA player development programs such as Get Golf\nReadyMaintain and promote a positive professional image within the communityAttend conferences, workshops, meetings, and trade shows to keep abreast of\nmarketing and business trendsRequirements
2 years or more at a private Club is preferred.Proficient in Jonas, Foretees and Golf Genius.
