Full Time Bluffton, SC, US Salary Range: $15.00 To $25.00 Hourly Palmetto Bluff is nestled along the May River in the Lowcountry of South Carolina between Hilton Head Island and Savannah. Job Summary The Assistant Golf Course Mechanic, under the supervision of the Head Mechanic and direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, performs and maintains all aspects of vehicle, equipment and cutting reel maintenance.

Job duties include, although are not limited to: Lubricate equipment in accordance to manufacturer guidelines Perform preventative maintenance Check and change oil, fluids and filters Replace hoses, belts, water pumps, batteries, etc. Adjust brakes, tire pressure and gas gauges Inspect radiators, water levels and antifreeze Repair or change flat tires Assist Head Mechanic in moderate to complex overhaul of: engines, transmissions, drive units, brakes, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, alternators, electrical systems, instrumentations, etc. Maintain records of work performed and schedules for future PM’s Clean and maintain in and around shop facilities, equipment, tools, and parts room Use a variety of testing equipment such as amp me
