Pro Shop Assistant

Job Description: Green Crest Golf Club is seeking a reliable and friendly Pro Shop Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established golf community, offering a dynamic work environment with a variety of responsibilities. You’ll be an integral part of our operations and customer service team, helping provide a high-quality experience for members and guests. Key Responsibilities: • Assist customers in the pro shop by providing exceptional service and offering advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories. • Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately. • Ensure the pro shop is well-stocked, organized, and clean. • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies. • Support the pro shop team with scheduling and event preparations as needed. • Provide assistance to customers regarding golf course information, membership details, and club events. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Computer Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer programs. • Customer Service: Excellent communication and customer service skills with a positive attitude. • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. • Must be available to work weekends and holidays, especially during warmer months. Hours: • Minimum 30 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours per week. • Must be available on weekends and holidays. Compensation and Benefits: • Hourly pay between $16 and $18 based on experience and skill level. • Year-end bonus based on the hours worked and overall success of the business. • Unlimited golf when not working • Pro-shop discounts on golf gear and apparel. • Food discounts at Crest Bar & Grill and Twist Ice Cream. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
