Overview $13 an hour PLUS TIPS We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our Apple Creek Golf Club team in a private and upscale dining environment. This role offers an hourly wage along with the potential to earn tips. The ideal candidate will possess excellent member and guest service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members and guests feel welcomed and well cared for, while efficiently managing their orders and requests. Duties - Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. - Take food and beverage orders accurately, utilizing POS systems such as Lightspeed. - Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance the experience. - Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving. - Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments. Experience - Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred, particularly in a fine dining setting. - Familiarity with POS systems (Lightspeed POS or similar) is a plus. - Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively. - Basic math skills are essential for accurate order processing and payment handling. - A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
