Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed. Ensure that all food is presented beautifully and meets quality standards before serving. Collaborate with servers to coordinate timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as necessary. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including assisting cooks with basic food handling duties. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy restaurant setting. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, including fellow staff members and guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
