Join our vibrant resort team as a Golf Pro Shop Associate, where you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences on the golf course. This dynamic role combines retail expertise, customer service excellence, and event coordination to create memorable moments for visitors of all ages. As a key ambassador of our resort’s hospitality, you’ll manage shop operations, assist guests with their needs, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps players coming back. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help elevate every guest’s visit while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with merchandise selection, tee times, and general inquiries in the golf shop.Manage cash handling duties accurately during sales transactions and maintain proper register procedures.Coordinate and support golf events, tournaments, and special outings to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.Handle guest concerns or conflicts promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive environment for all visitors.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.Support resort hospitality efforts by engaging with guests at various events, including food service or entertainment activities when required.Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed, including lifeguard experience or related safety measures when applicable.Requirements
Proven experience in customer service, retail sales, or hospitality environments; experience in golf shops is a plus.Strong skills in conflict management and guest services to handle diverse situations with professionalism.Ability to manage cash handling accurately and efficiently during busy periods.Experience in event management or coordinating group activities such as tournaments or social gatherings.Excellent communication skills for public speaking engagements or guiding groups through activities.Background in food service or hospitality settings preferred; experience working with children is advantageous.Lifeguard experience or safety certifications are desirable for supporting resort amenities beyond the golf shop.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and enthusiasm.Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests!
