About the Role

Overview

Founded in 1921, Plum Hollow Country Club brings together more than a century of championship golf, lasting friendships, and exceptional hospitality. Located in Southfield, Michigan, this private club offers a welcoming atmosphere where members and staff take pride in the Club’s traditions and share enthusiasm for its future.

Designed by the renowned architectural firm Colt & Alison, Plum Hollow’s championship golf course is celebrated for its sweeping elevations, picturesque ravines, and distinctive natural beauty. Its distinguished tournament history includes the 1947 PGA Championship, the 1957 Western Open, and the 2015 Michigan Amateur, reflecting the Club’s longstanding place in competitive golf.

Plum Hollow continues to invest in that legacy. With nearly $9 million in improvements over the past several years, the Club has enhanced its clubhouse, men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, and pool area, while completing a substantial golf course renovation that included rebuilding tees and bunkers and restoring the Rouge River watershed running through the property. These investments reflect a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

At the heart of Plum Hollow is a membership that values camaraderie, sportsmanship, and the enjoyment of Club life. The motto, “Living the Plum Life!”, captures the welcoming spirit that makes Plum Hollow a special place to belong.

Plum Hollow is seeking its next Head Golf Professional to lead its golf staff, services, and operations.
