About the Role
Position Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Golf Coach to teach children ages 5–13 the fundamentals of golf in a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate way. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in golf instruction, a passion for youth development, and the ability to make learning golf both fun and educational.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver age-appropriate golf lessons focusing on technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the game.
· Teach and reinforce core golf fundamentals, including:
o Grip, stance, posture, and alignment
o Full swing mechanics (iron play, woods, hybrids)
o Short game fundamentals (chipping, pitching, bunker shots)
o Putting stroke and green reading
o Pre-shot routine and shot visualization
o Basic course management and etiquette
· Introduce and implement junior golf development programs (e.g., U.S. Kids Golf, PGA Jr. League, or First Tee frameworks).
· Use fun, game-based learning to develop coordination, focus, and confidence.
· Ensure all instruction prioritizes safety, sportsmanship, and enjoyment.
· Evaluate individual progress and provide feedback to players and parents.
Assist with junior camps, clinics, and tournaments when needed.
Qualifications
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or coaching Golf (experience with children preferred).
· Strong understanding of swing fundamentals, short game techniques, and golf rules/etiquette.
· Familiarity with junior golf equipment (shorter clubs, reduced-flight balls, modified tees).
· Excellent communication and motivational skills with children and parents.
· Ability to tailor instruction for varying ages, attention spans, and skill levels.
· [Optional: PGA/LPGA Teaching Professional Certification, or enrollment in the PGA Associate Program preferred.]
· CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
· Knowledge of motor skill development and age-appropriate athletic progression for junior golfers.
· Experience with technology and training aids (e.g., launch monitors, video analysis, putting aids).
· Ability to design games, challenges, and drills that promote learning and enjoyment.
· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
· Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants.

Part Time Job - Monday to Friday 2 PM - 5 PM EST
