Assistant Golf Professional

Overview Plymouth Country Club is seeking an energetic assistant golf professional to join the team for the 2027 season. Essential duties will include tournament operations, merchandising and junior golf. The right candidate will be provided with the necessary tools to progress as a PGA professional. All assistants will work 5 days per week throughout the season. 5 Assistant Professionals in the last 8 seasons have moved on to their own Head Professional positions. Start date and end dates can be flexible depending on the candidate, as well as the opportunity to work year round with significant time off during the winter months. Essential Responsibilities Spread hospitality and goodwill among all members, guests and fellow staff. Welcome all members and guests in the golf shop and around the club; anticipate and assist in their daily needs. Play golf with the membership on a regular basis. Understand the entire operation thoroughly including the policies and procedures. Assist Head Professional in training all staff members. Instruct private lessons, group clinics, and junior clinics. Assist with displaying and maintaining golf shop merchandise.
